Common questions
Can I really launch today?
Yes. Aegis Commerce is built specifically so that you can complete the Build flow and publish a store with a payment path connected on the same day. Payment provider approval and account standing are controlled by the provider, not by Aegis Commerce.
Do I need PayPal, Stripe, or Square before I start?
No. You can complete the Build flow and preview your store first. You'll connect a payment provider before you publish, but you don't need credentials ready to start Build.
Do I need to set up shipping carriers before launch?
No. Aegis Commerce lets you start with basic shipping, pickup, or local delivery. FedEx, UPS, ShipStation, and advanced carrier tools are introduced after your first orders, not before launch.
Can I sell services or digital products?
Yes. Aegis Commerce supports physical products, services and packages, digital downloads, local pickup orders, and creator offers. The Build flow asks what you sell and sets the right defaults for your store type.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Custom domains are available on the Starter plan ($19/mo) and above. The free Launch plan uses an Aegis subdomain.
What happens when I get my first order?
You'll see it in your store dashboard. Aegis Commerce will show you the order details, fulfillment next steps, and — when the time is right — will softly introduce deeper fulfillment tools.
